I am so glad you are here.

Hey there, Erin here.

With my human hat on, I’m a woman, a wife, a mom, a daughter, and a continuously healing soul. Under my professional hat, I’m a witness, an intellect, a collaborator, a lifelong learner, a somatic therapist, and founder of Embrace, Embody, Empower.

I’ve always been curious about the deeper layers of what makes us humanβ€”how our experiences live in our bodies, how our nervous systems communicate with us, and how much wisdom we carry within ourselves.

My approach to healing is warm, relational, curious, and rooted in the whole person. I blend my background in clinical social work with somatic, trauma-informed, and integrative practices to help people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore what healing can look like beyond simply talking about what’s wrong.

I believe healing can mean remembering and reintegrating the innate wisdom that already exists within usβ€”creating the space for the body, mind, heart, and spirit to reconnect and do what they were built to doβ€”bringing us back to ourselves as home.

My Story

I’ve been deeply introspective my whole life. I can remember times when I would find myself deep inside my mind and heart, so earnest and curious about what was going on with me. I have vivid memories as a child (probs TMI) and being so intrigued about an anxious wave or a fluttering feeling inside of me and wondering what it meant, or what the sensations meant for me as I grew.

I had many different experiences about noticing the things that felt unfair or unjust or sometimes traumatic and painful, and not having the tools or the room to express the rage and mistreatment around that, and so it was stuffed and silenced, and that’s how I learned to cope with many things.

As I went through life, I found many ways to not deal with things: toxic relationships, overcompensating for others, tolerating abuse and toxic behavior, and icing people out, hoping they would push towards me more.

As a provider

My approach to healing is warm, relational, curious, light, and rooted in the whole person and their systemic environment. I blend my background in clinical social work with somatic, trauma-informed, and integrative practices to help people slow down, reconnect with themselves, zoom out to where they are placed within their web of life, and explore what healing can look like beyond simply talking about what’s wrong and diving deeper into what our bodies and spirit are trying to tell us.

I’m just a woman who enjoys blending physical fitness into movement and physicality that doesn’t feel like work. I’m a person who really values enjoyment, emotional ease, and dare I say, fun! Absolutely lean on your into grit and grind, but I fully decline the idea that you have to be miserable for physical fitness to be worth it or you must suffer through something for it to be worth something.

I’ve always felt my beastlyiest when I feel strongβ€”sports, lifting, dancing. And it always without fail flows into my mental clarity and brings strength to all other areas of my lifeβ€”mental health, spiritual health

I’m also someone who likes to stack things and feel like I’m saving time (I’m talking to my other multitaskers out thereβ€”I’m not about rushing, but I am a Mom and a realist)
