About EEE
-
Embrace, Embody, Empower is rooted in a whole-person approach to well-being that honors the connection between mind, body, soul, emotions, relationships, systemic impact, and lived experience.
Through psychotherapy, somatic practices, movement, education, community-based offerings, they goal is to help people reconnect with themselves, cultivate self-trust, and build sustainable ways of healing trauma and caring for their well-being. -
Coming home to yourself means developing a deeper relationship with your own experiences, values, emotions, and needs. It means making space to listen inward, recognize patterns, and choose what feels most aligned with who you areβnot simply who you have learned you need to be.
-
Alongside conversation and reflection, body-based (also known as bottom-up) approaches invite awareness of physical sensations, movement, breath, and nervous-system responses, instead of the main focus being on thoughts, meaning making, and verbalizing stress responses. The approach is collaborative and individualized, recognizing that people may benefit from different pathways to understanding and change.

I use a blend of different modalities that are formed from a systems and whole-person lens. My clinical work is based in integrative and humanistic approaches like Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment and Relational theory, Systems theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
A solid undercurrent of my work is immersed in decolonized, Indigenous wisdom and teachings, neuroscience, social justice, spirituality, embodiment, intuition, and leading with discernment. -
In person therapy and classes are offered at the Henderson Healing Hub, in Henderson, Minnesota.
Telehealth is also offered.
-

Yes! I think itβs extremely beneficial to meet and have a chance to ask questions before investing time, energy, and finances into anything you are pursuing.
I offer a complimentary 15-minute, no obligation, meet and greet for introductions, share a bit about my therapeutic style and approach, learn a bit about you, and allow some time and space to see if this would be an aligned therapy alliance. You can fill out a form to schedule that here.
-
An initial session generally includes discussing what brings you to therapy, your goals, relevant history, and what you hope to gain from the process. A review of a diagnostic assessment, or DA, is typically completed beforehand and reviewed together (donβt worry, itβs not as scary as it sounds!) You will have (and always will have) the opportunity to ask questions, share as much or as little as you like, and collaborate on the approach that respects both therapeutic parties and supports your needs.
Other Logistics
-
It is any physical practice performed with conscious, internal attention on how your body feels from the inside out, rather than focusing on external appearance, flexibility, or performance goals.
-
Even though these activities can be beneficial and supplemental to wellbeing, they are not substitutes for therapy.
Although I have professional mental health credentials, this class is offered as a wellness and movement experience, not psychotherapy, counseling, mental health treatment, or crisis intervention. Participation does not establish a therapist-client relationship, nor is it designed to diagnose, treat, or cure any physical or mental health condition.
-
Not at all! All offerings are designed for people to come just as they areβready to tune in more to what their nervous system and body is telling them. All participants are encouraged to engage at their own pace, adapt practices to their comfort level, and choose what feels most aligned. There is zero expectation to move any certain way, share personal experience, or achieve a certain outcome.
-
I take cash, major cards, PayPal, and Venmo for your convenience.
-
Refunds for classes purchased online are available with 24 hours' notice (minus a 3% processing fee).
If you cancel within the 24-hour window, you can credit the class order to another class. -
Your data is kept private and secure and is not sold to any other parties. I may use your email to update you on future classes and news from Embrace, Embody, Empower. You are welcome to opt out at any time.
